Course description
Tai Chi translates as “10,000 things” or “everything in the universe”. Originally derived from Martial Arts, the slow graceful movements in places reflect the natural movements
of the animals and birds, as symbols or “pictures”, designed to focus the mind and breathing through a complex series of executions.
Although it retains its fighting applications, it is practised for improving one’s health, concentration and mind / body coordination. Tai Chi facilitates a wakeful relaxation and shows one how to constantly have a reserve of mind and body energy available.
