Course Description
An opportunity to learn traditional songs in English and Irish. The classes will increase your repertoire of songs and allow you to develop a traditional, unaccompanied style of singing.
Songs taught would be suitable for competitions in Fleadhs, Scor na Oige, Feiseanna and humorous/ballad songs heard in the local! The classes will introduce you to ornamentation, phasing and the art of lilting (Diddling and tune) and introduce you to regional styles of singing.
