This post-graduate course is aimed at those seeking Continuing Professional Development (CPD) at post-graduate level in Psychology of Development and Emotional Wellbeing. Course DetailsThis post-graduate course examines theories that have been put forward about how we develop and explores elements of educational psychology.
It aims to engage you in learning about systematic understanding of theories of cognitive and social development throughout our life span, with a more refined focus on 0-18yrs.
Topics such as the role of gender in development, how we develop a sense of morality, the impact of peer groups, and how children deal with adversity are explored in this programme.
The course is designed as a short level 9 post-graduate course to upskill in respective areas, rather than providing recognised training as a therapist or counsellor.
Upon completion, you will be awarded a micro-credential award at level 9 from the University of Essex in Psychology of Development and Emotional Wellbeing.
