Course description
The Pilates Teacher Training Course is designed to enable the learner to develop the personal qualities, knowledge, confidence and skills required to progress and pursue a career as a Pilates Teacher and Massage Therapist in a variety of settings. This unique course combines Pilates Teacher Training with sports massage therapies, body conditioning and exercise. The course allows students to achieve the following qualifications:
- ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Pilates Teaching (iSP3D29 603/4485/4)
- ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage (iSP3D32 603/4501/9)
- QQI Component Award Level 5

- Professional practice in sports massage
- Sports massage treatments
- Anatomy and physiology for sports massage

- Small equipment classes
- Learners will deliver Pilates classes inside and outside the college

- Work experience in a variety of settings
- Large mirrored Pilates studio with sprung floor
Employment Opportunities:
- Setting up your own Pilates Teaching business
- Working in sports clubs, leisure centres, gyms, alternative therapy clinics, health centres or Spas.
- Setting up in private practice as a Sports/Holistic Massage Therapist

The Pilates Teaching and Somatic studies course is designed to enable the learner to develop the personal qualities, knowledge, confidence and skills required to progress and pursue a career as a Pilates teacher in a variety of settings. This unique course combines Pilates teacher training with body conditioning, nutrition and exercise. Learners will also develop the skills to incorporate Barre routines into their teaching practice.
