This course equips learners with the knowledge, skills and competence to work in a supportive role in the area of rehabilitation and physical disability. The Physiotherapist Assistant’s role is to work under the direction and guidance of a Chartered Physiotherapist to assess, treat and support recovering clients.

Progression Options
Graduates can obtain employment in the Health Service Executive (HSE) and the Healthcare sector including nursing homes, retirement villages, hospitals, community and care settings. This course also provides entry to a range of related degree courses in Universities and Institutes of Technology.
