Part Time Degree Course in Counselling and Psychotherapy
PCI provides a BSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy, validated by Middlesex University and fully accredited by the IACP, this honours degree is designed to be both, theoretical and experiential, providing students with the qualifications and skills they will need to practice as a professional counsellor
There are no formal examinations, giving students more opportunities to concentrate on their assignments, and their own self-exploration throughout their journey. On successful completion of your degree, you will be awarded with your Middlesex University BSc (Hons) Counselling and Psychotherapy, which is currently the requirement for working towards your professional accreditation.
All PCI College lecturers are highly qualified, experienced individuals who hold a minimum of a Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy and are practising Counsellors accredited with the IACP. Many hold MSc.s in specialist fields, students are supported through the degree programmes by Core Tutors, making this a truly unique adult education experience.
To be eligible for the course applicants need to have successfully completed a Certificate in Counselling and Psycotherapy, Work/Volunteer training with a substantial counselling element or hold a Level 7+ (NFQ) course in Psychology, Social Care/Social Work, Psychiatric Nursing or Equivalent
Award: Middlesex University BSc (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy
Level: Level 6 FHEQ (Comparable to Level 8 NFQ)
