Course Description

This course is designed to provide qualified health fitness instructors and personal trainers with the knowledge and skills to enable them to prescribe safe, effective and appropriate training methods utilising Kettlebells suitable for group training or on a 1-2-1 basis.

Following successful completion of this course, learners will be qualified and able to:
Apply theory and practice of physical development in the teaching of a range of Kettlebell exercises.
Prescribe Kettlebell exercise specific to a client’s needs and goals
Design and teach a safe and effective exercise programme.
Appraise a Kettlebell exercise session reflecting on self-practice, gaining client feedback and modifying the programme accordingly.

The National Qualification in Kettlebell Training is open to application from all professionals who hold a recognised, valid and current primary fitness instructor qualification which is accredited or mapped at EQF Level 3 or higher.

Not all primary fitness instructor qualifications meet the minimum standard required. If your primary fitness instructor qualification does not meet the requirements NTC will be unable to award a certificate for this programme even if you have completed it so if you are in any doubt whether your qualification meets the requirements please submit a copy of your primary fitness instructor qualification at least two weeks prior to the start date or contact the NTC prior to enrollment.
