Course Description

DkIT is exciting to be offering an online MSc in Computing in Medical Device Software Engineering (structured). This course is a blend of a traditional taught MSc and a research MSc. Students do 2 taught modules online, 2 evenings per week, then students will complete 2 further taught modules online, 2 evening per week.

Students then work directly (virtually) with a researcher. This will involve contributing to an EU project and performing research in the area of overcoming the challenges of adopting AI algorithms as part of their medical device software applications.

Graduates of the course will have detailed knowledge and understanding of both the creative, developmental, and programming strands needed for immersive production and will be skilled in the use of applications used to produce immersive experiences for multiple industry domains. With a focus on the healthcare software industry, gain the skills required to become a Medical Device Software Engineer, Regulatory Quality Assurance Lead, Product Owner/ Product Manager on a Medical Device Software Product, Medical Device Software Researcher or a Medical Device software cybersecurity engineer.

There is a limited number of partially funded places for this course which are expected to fill quickly.
