This Master’s degree in Games and Extended Reality at DkIT could be the perfect conversion course for you! Taught by leading experts in the field, this two-year online course is designed to provide you with the necessary technical knowledge and transferable skills to design, develop, and evaluate games and immersive user experiences using virtual (VR), augmented (AR), and mixed reality technologies.

The online flexible mode of delivery allows you to study at your own pace, at times that suit your schedule, from any location with internet access. This means you can fit your studies around your work or personal commitments.

Developed with the support of companies and those working in the field of games development and immersive technologies, this course will equip you with the skills and knowledge to work in a variety of roles within the industry including Game Engine Developers, Programmers, 3D Artists, and AR/VR Developers.

The course is divided into four semesters, with each semester covering essential topics such as Software Engineering, 3D Animation and Game Engine Pipeline, Extended Reality Theory, Data Analytics for Computer Graphics, Narrative Scene Composition and Prototype, User Experience Design in Immersive Technologies, Research Skills for Product Development, and Sound Design for Immersive Technologies.

The course is taught using an online learning approach, providing a balanced learning experience that is both structured and flexible, making it ideal for students in active employment. Classes take place in the evenings between 6 pm and 10 pm, three nights a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday), making it easy for you to fit your studies around your work or personal commitments.
