Practical training on this course will take place in the state of the art SOLAS training garage which is located in Dundalk. Other aspects of the course are located in Drogheda Institute.

Progression & Career Options
Graduates from this course will achieve a nationally recognised qualification which will enable them to compete for employment or an apprenticeship in the motor industry such as Motor Vehicle Technician, HGV,/Agricultural Vehicle Technician, Plant-hire Technician, Motorbike Technician etc.
Other students may gain employment in the area of spare parts, developments in the field of auto electric/electric vehicle and as service advisor assitants.
This qualification can also be used to apply for a range of related degree courses in Universities and Institutes of Techology
