These three practical talks are designed to help attendees increase their mental health and wellbeing through
1.) education and understanding; and
2.) the practise of regular healthy habits.
Each session will focus on an aspect of mental health that is important to know more about and create greater self-awareness, as well as learning how to integrate these practices into life in a way that is easily manageable.
The 3 talks are over 3 weeks and the skills that will be taught can be applied to all aspects of life. The speaker is Jason Brennan – psychotherapist, coach and bestselling mental health author, who has a practise in Malahide for participants interested in ongoing support and sessions. First Talk
1. Anxiety Management Skills
The word anxiety has become a common part of our everyday language, however it is often used in a way that is not very beneficial or even correct. In this 1-hour session you will learn:
What is Anxiety?
Why do we get Anxious?
How we can reduce Anxiousness?
The session will be followed with Q & A
SECOND TALK
2. Stress for Success
Stress is an important part of life and research shows that how we handle stress gives a significant insight into how we can manage and improve our mental health. In this 1-hour session you will learn:
Understand more about Stress
What do we know helps – Learn Techniques
How to plan ahead – Strategies
The session will be followed with Q & A
THIRD TALK
3. Driving Life Happiness
An often misunderstood aspect of life is happiness, in what it means to each of us and in how we go about achieving more of this each and every day. In this 1-hour session you will learn:
How do we understand Happiness?
Where can we find more of it in our lives?
What can we choose to increase to feel happier?
The session will be followed with Q & A
Course Day & Time: Monday Evening Course 7.30 – 8.30 pm

You can choose full course of 3 talks for €100 (Code M23) or choose individual talks for €40 per talk. (see below)

Course Format: In class with tutor
Duration: 3 weeks for set of 3 talks – Maximum of 15 students in class
