Course description
COURSE STRUCTURE
The course is made up of 6 units:
The Management of Facilities;
Health and Safety;
Security Measures;
Contracts and Contractors;
Managing Risk; and
Developing Individual Mental Toughness.
ACCREDITATION AND CERTIFICATION
Participants gain the Level 4 UK Certificate in Leadership and Management – comparable to Level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ).
The Certificate is awarded by the City&Guilds of London Institute for ILM qualifications, and is internationally-recognised.
ENTRY
Entry is open, and applicants do not need any previous qualifications to join the Certificate.
Participants need to be able to apply what they are learning on the course to a practical situation.
NO EXAMINATIONS
There are no examinations.
Instead the course is assessed by a practical written assignment for each unit.
TUTORIAL SUPPORT
Each participant is given online access to all the course materials on a 24/7 basis.
Tutorial support consists of emailed feedback from the tutors on draft assignments before they are formally submitted for marking. Tutorial support is to guide each learner on how to reach the required standard, including writing styles and terms.
COURSE DURATION
The course runs for 1 night per week for 12 weeks.
ONLINE COURSE DELIVERY IN REAL TIME BY THE TUTORS
The course is delivered online in real time by the tutors.
