The Certificate in Facilities Management is the most important introductory course and FM qualification in Ireland. The Certificate leads to a Facilities Management Diploma by topping up on 5 additional units.
Held only one night per week, over 7 months from CMI School in Dublin 2, combined with online learning, the programme offers you upskilling in every aspect of working as a Facilities Manager.
The Certificate course covers the following 4 units:
- Facility Management introduction and overview
- Managing Health and safety in own area of facilities management
- Understanding Facilities management support services operations
- Understanding People management in facilities management
By the end of the programme, you will be able to identify and control health and safety issues; implement human resource management strategies better, maximise the best from all stakeholders including staff, contractors and support services.
