Course description
As a highly regarded Executive PA, you will need a combination of administrative and managerial skills as well as excellent communication and problem solving abilities. Executive PA’s are responsible for managing the day-to-day tasks of a busy executive. They are the primary contact between the Executive and the rest of the organisation. You may also be responsible for managing other administrative staff. In addition Executive PA’s must be proactive, self-motivated and flexible enough to adapt to new business needs and understand the business strategy of the organisation.
Accompanying these characteristics is a set of skills that allow Executive PA’s to perform their roles efficiently. IT skills such as the Microsoft Office Suite , project management and accounting tools. Time management and this includes being able to prioritise tasks, manage conflicting demands and resolve conflicts. In addition you will need to be able to anticipate problems and find solutions quickly and effectively.
