Course description
The Griffin College Unit Certificate in Understanding sustainability and environmental issues in an organisation is ideal for anyone responsible environmental protection and sustainability management for their organisation.
The course topics are:
Explain the terms sustainability and corporate social responsibility and the legislation associated with these concepts;
List the environmental standards required in own organisation;
Explain the environmental issues affecting own organisation;
Describe ways to manage issues affecting own organisation in an environmentally friendly way;
Explain the constraints of own organisation’s building(s) on environmentally friendly procedures and practices; and
Explain the opportunities to enhance own organisation’s building(s) environmentally friendly performance.
Entry:
Entry is open and no prior qualifications are required.
Certification:
The Unit Certificate in Sustainability and Environmental Management is accredited and awarded by Griffin College.
Duration and Times
The course runs over 1 day from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm with a break at lunchtime.
The course is delivered online in real time by the tutors.
