Course description
This course can be taken by anyone who is already familiar with assembling garments from patterns. It will encourage you to be creative, using more complicated designs from patterns of your choice, e.g. a dress, top and skirt, or trousers, using more sophisticated fabrics.
You will be introduced to a ‘Domestic Over Locker’, which is a sewing machine used to make garments look more professionally ‘finished off’. This will enable you to practise and become a more confident and competent dressmaker.
Distance Learning and Online Courses are offered in a number of different formats, these include correspondence courses (by post), online via computer or a combination of online and classroom instruction (blended learning).. View
