H. Degree-Level Programme In Management 2 Years PT

Leadership and Management skills are now more important than ever.

The programme has open entry and enables people to progress from the Level 5 Award to the Level 8 Diploma in 2 years part-time on the basis of one evening per week.

The course is ideal for people who want to progress in their careers and want to demonstrate their ability to lead and management at graduate level.

Structure:

The structure of the Leadership and Management programme in terms of time input is:

Level 5 Award In Leadership and Management – this is done over 4 evenings in total – one evening per week;
Level 6 Certificate In Leadership and Management – this is done over an additional 7 evenings after the Level 5 Award; and
Level 8 Diploma in Management – this is done over an additional 11  Saturdays after the Level 6 Certificate.

Understanding Leadership
Developing Yourself and Others

Level 6 Certificate Stage in Leadership and Management (ILM)

Managing Workplace Projects
Motivating People in the Workplace
Delegating Authority in the Workplace
Developing Individual Mental Toughness
Completion of an assignment per unit.

Level 8 Diploma in Business Management Stage (Griffin College).

Developing the executive manager;
Critical thinking and research skills in management;
Leading project implementation;
Leading change in organisations;
Developing excellence in operations; and
Building commitment to corporate vision and values

Certification

Participants can gain a separate qualification at each stage – Award, Certificate and Diploma.

The Award and Certificate course are accredited and certified by the Institute of Leadership and Management / City&Guilds.

The Level 8 Diploma in Management is accredited and certified by the Griffin College.

The courses are practical, and designed to be applied directly to your working environment.

Delivery and Times

The Award and Certificate courses course run for one evening per week from 6:30 pm to 10:00pm

The Level 8 Diploma in Management runs for 11 Saturdays – 1 per month for a year excluding August.

Each Saturday runs from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm with a break at lunchtime.

The course is delivered online in real time by the tutors.
