Social Media and Content Creation (5M5048)

The Course will teach learners the fundamental skills in Social and Digital Media, as well as web design and Entrepreneurial skills.  It will be underpinned by very practical applications including Marketing and Public Relations. Students will study up to date content in topical areas such as marketing research, marketing planning, promotional methods, social media marketing, search engine optimization, digital advertising, and effective public relations.  Students will be eligible to apply for progression through the CAO to various Business and Marketing courses including TU Dublin, IADT and NU Maynooth. Graduates have also gained employment in all areas of the creative media industry as news reporters, feature writers, radio presenters, radio producers, news editors, content creators, podcast producers, sports journalists, radio presenters, public relations practitioners, newspaper editors, advertising copywriters and other exciting media careers
