Course description
Location: Mount Lucas, Daingean, Co. Offaly
This course is ideal for someone considering a career in Construction. It is a 26 week full time course – comprised of training and work placement. It was designed in consultation with employers and aims to give participants the skills and knowledge they need to begin work in the Construction Industry.
On successful completion of the course participants will achieve a City and Guilds Level 2 Certificate in Construction Operations which includes the modules listed below, together with a range of industry recognised skills including Safepass, Manual Handling, measuring, mixing and levelling, introduction to drawings and working at heights etc.
No previous experience is necessary. Participants should have an interest in gaining employment in the continually expanding Construction Industry.
