Core transversal skills are becoming ever more important to an individual’s successful and sustainable employment. This course is for those who wish to enhance their personal and professional development and aims to provide participants with a set of cross functional skills within an organisation. There are a wide range of skills which are deemed to be necessary to empower the workforce and promote individual employability.

Course delivery combines traditional distance education with online learning and approximately three on-campus days per semester. Face to face classroom sessions are supported with recorded / live lectures to present information. An in-company project will ensure a strong focus on the integration of the concepts tools and techniques in the participant’s organisation during the course of the course.

Entry Requirements:

The main objective of this course is to upskill the Irish workforce in terms of the general and transversal skills they need in order to be more effective in their workplace. Therefore, there is no academic pre-requirement for entering this course of study. All applicants with a Leaving Cert are eligible to apply for this course.
