PCI College provide a 75 hour part-time certificate course in counselling and psychotherapy with an emphasis on individuals that are interested in exploring their own personal development and growth. This course is designed to be the first step to a career in counselling and to provide useful skills that you can use in a workplace, or your own personal life. The 75 hour certificate programme for personal Development or for those who want to prepare for professional qualification.
This course is accessible to all and is a great way to develop an understanding and appreciation of counselling. It will appeal to those who are looking for personal development or those who need counselling skills in their work. You will be introduced to a basic knowledge of counselling, key skills and selected approaches to the process. Interpersonal communication, personal development issues and the application of theory to practice are all well explored. This course is also a stepping stone for those who want to prepare for a professional qualification.
The PCI College Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy meets one of the entry requirements of our BSc Degree Programmes.
Accreditation: Upon completion of this course, students will be invited to apply to our Middlesex University BSc (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy (Level 8) and is fully accredited by the IACP in all our venues.
