Course description
This course offers students the opportunity to make an informed decision about courses in colleges of Art and Design and careers in related areas. Students will learn how to generate ideas for a range of Art and Design disciplines with the aim of identifying their area of study when progressing to Third Level education.
This award can be used instead of the Leaving Certificate for entry into Third Level Colleges of Art and Design.

Progression & Career Options
Portfolio Preparation for Third Level Education is the main component of this course. Students can continue their studies in their chosen area or specialism at one of the many Third Level Colleges of Art, Craft and Design in Ireland or the UK, or progress to a career in a related area.
Distance Learning and Online Courses are offered in a number of different formats, these include correspondence courses (by post), online via computer or a combination of online and classroom instruction (blended learning).. View
