Course description
This course provides the advanced skills required for working in the Hairdressing industry. Students gain excellent practical skills and acquire the knowledge and hands on experience to progress to various within the industry.
Learners gain real life salon experience under the fantastic guidance of our hairdressing team.

Certification
Students who successfully complete Year Two will be awarded a Senior Trade Certificate (Department of Education and Skills)
Entry Requirements
For entry into Year 2 (This course is second year of Professional Hairdressing level 5 course) students must achieve at least a Merit in their QQI Hairdressing Theory & Practical examination, pass all other modules and have two days per week placement in a hair salon.
Progression Options
This course enables students to advance their career in Hairdressing and develop a range of specialised skills.
Students spend two days per week on work experience and gain a broad range of salon experience which often leads to employment in the industry.
Graduates can also apply for a range of other courses in Institutes of Technology.
Additional course fees apply for kits, uniforms, books, trade exam fees and equipment.
