Offers courses in Animal Care, Beauty, Business, Construction, Childcare, Hairdressing, Healthcare, Information Technology, Security, Social Studies and Sports. Qualifications from QQI level 5 and 6, ITEC, as well as apprenticeship programmes.
The college was originally established as Mallow Vocational School in 1932, it relocated from the town centre to its current location in the 1940s. In 1990 it was renamed Davis College in honour of Mallow-born writer Thomas Davis. In 2001 the secondary school was moved to its current location in Summerhill. In 2016 Mallow College of Further Education was given its own independent status as a College separate from Davis College.
The adult education department, provides a range of part time courses with QQI level 5 and 6, and Accounting Technicians Ireland qualifications.
The college is part of the Cork ETB (Education and Training Board), courses are primarily QQI assessed, with ITEC in beauty therapy, as well as a SOLAS run carpentry apprenticeship course.
