Eurodesk Ireland are inviting youth workers, guidance counsellors, career professionals and students to a collection of events for young people throughout October 2017. These activities will introduce participants to the hundreds of possibilities through which they can go abroad and take part in an international project, explore Europe or gain experience.
All the activities are run by Eurodesk information experts, who are available to have a discussion and helping find the international project most suited to individual needs. Interested in volunteering in another country for a few months? School exchange for a semester? Internships abroad? If so visit http://timetomove.eurodesk.eu/ for more information.
The events will enable participants to:
- Discuss benefits and challenges of youth mobility in the current context in Ireland and in Europe
- Meet and network with organisations interested in supporting young people in their mobility projects
- Find out about opportunities for young people to work, train, study and volunteer in Europe
Today, a network of more than 1000 youth professionals work with Eurodesk in 34 countries to raise awareness among young people on learning mobility opportunities and to encourage them to become active citizens. As a support organisation to Erasmus+, Eurodesk makes information on learning mobility comprehensive and accessible to youth professionals.
