STEPS Engineers Week 2021 takes place online from Saturday, 27 February – Friday, 5 March.
This year, Engineers Week is going digital. Join the Engineers Ireland team online in celebrating the world of engineering for Engineers Week 2021.
Engineers Week is a week-long festival of nationwide events which celebrate the fields of engineering in Ireland. This annual festival is coordinated on a national basis by Engineers Ireland’s STEPS programme (a strategic partner of Science Foundation Ireland’s (SFI) Smart Futures Programme).
Engineers Week Aims:
- To encourage young people, their teachers and guardians to explore the exciting world of engineering.
- Generate interest and enthusiasm for the field of engineering.
- To positively showcase engineering as a rewarding and creative career choice.
- Highlight the many opportunities which engineering offers.
STEPS Engineers Week 2020 marked Ireland’s largest celebration of engineering in the community with over 92,000 participants taking part in 980 activities nationwide.
